Acoustics Plus Ltd is a member of The Association of Noise Consultants (ANC) and is qualified to perform accredited sound insulation testing under the ANC’s accredited testing scheme.
The requirement for pre-completion sound testing came into force on 1st July 2003, however, if the construction is new build and registered with Robust Details Ltd, pre-completion testing is not needed.
If the robust detail guidance has been followed, but registration with Robust Details Ltd has not occurred, pre-completion testing is necessary.
Pre-completion testing must be carried out by a test body, such as Acoustics Plus, with appropriate third party accreditation.
